We understand every individual is different with nutrition, ranging from personal preferences with food choices to how the food is consumed such as non-oral consumption.
Medication
Medication management is provided when individuals are unable to manage this themselves. Carers could assist with ordering medication, administering medication. Medication can be provided in many different forms such as oral, transdermal, topical, inhalation.
Activities & Appointments
Live-in care offers psychological and emotional support for the service user, but alongside this they can offer providing reassurance, support with accessing social activities, skill development… assistance to attend any health and social appointments and general daily living activities.
House keeping
The place where care is given whether it be your own home or in a different care setting is the workplace of the carers. Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment prevents risk of infection Cleaning surface areas, changing bed linen, hoovering are examples of general housekeeping tasks.
